Commercial Lighting
If you run a business, high-quality lighting can help boost your aesthetic appeal to potential customers while providing an attractive working environment for your employees.
Emergency Security Lighting
Our specially trained engineers carry out emergency lighting tests as part of their routine inspections of commercial premises. Emergency lighting is needed in commercial buildings – and some domestic buildings – to ensure the safe evacuation of occupants in the event of an emergency.
PAT Testing
Companies in the UK have a legal obligation to protect the health and safety of their employees. Portable Appliance Testing – otherwise known as PAT testing – is a key part of this.

Frequent Questions
How often should i renew my EICR report?
The IET recommend the following maximum periods between testing; If you live in a domestic property, the recommended time for periodic inspection is every 10 years, or at the change of occupancy. If you live in a rental property or are a landlord, an EICR is recommended every 5 years and at the start of each new tenancy. If it is a commercial installation, the recommended period is 5 years between periodic inspections, or at the change of occupancy.
Can we do inspection in the evening and weekends.
Yes, being a customer centric company, we work around you and know its probably ideal for you as it saves you taking a day off. So we offer weekend and evening appointments for both Domestic and Commercial Electric works.
What does EICR mean?
EICR stands for an Electrical Installation Conditioning Report. Fault codes are used to denote the level of fault with an electrical system.
C1 means ‘Danger is present’, risk of injury is likely and IMMEDIATE action is required.
C2 is the classification for POTENTIALLY dangerous and remedial action is needed urgently.
C3 is the last classification code and the only one that can appear on a report and have it still pass the EICR test. C3 means an improvement to your electrical system is recommended but not required.
Is there a Legal Requirement for Electric Certificates
It is recommended to conduct a five yearly electrical installation checks for privately rented properties. British Standard BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) advises that homeowners and landlords are recommended to test their properties once in every five years, or when there is a change of tenancy.
